Swift & Company

In 1927, Swift & Company was one of the nation's many industrial companies that made its home on Peters Street in the thriving business and industrial area of Castleberry Hill. Swift & Company was in business until 1989, when most businesses and interest had moved to the suburbs. While vacant for nearly a decade, the charm of Castleberry Hill eventually gained the attention of artists and residents in search of warehouse space and true loft living in an urban environment. The resulting renovation and adaptive reuse of buildings grew rapidly in response to the demand.

The Swift & Co. Lofts are comprised of three buildings with outstanding features and characteristics.
